Somebody once told me that I should write a book because of all of the fun things I’ve witnessed and he will buy it… I hope you’re reading this now.☺

Hi, my name is Anda, four letters, quite an easy name, should be easy to pronounce but I also answer to Andy, Amanda, Unda or…Ooo, Ander Herreeeeera!

No seriously, my name is Anda, I am one of the founders of Bucharest City Tales and I have a pretty fun job.

When I meet new people, they often ask me what I do for a living and my answer is quite simple: ” Uhm, it’s complicated. Have you seen the movie “ Hangover”? Well, I host this type of group but without a tiger in the bathroom.”

Just for the record, I don’t live in Vegas but Bucharest is fun as well.

It all started 6 years ago when I was searching for new ways to promote Romania abroad. I am in love with my country, therefore, I became quite obsessed with the idea of bringing tourists here.

I noticed that a lot of young people are willing to travel for fun and somehow I found a few companies that were organising Bachelors parties in different European destinations and destiny brought to my knowledge about a company which at that moment just launched Bucharest as a destination. And guess what? They were searching for a Local Partner. I applied, I received the job and this is how the fun started.

You can imagine that at that time, this concept was new for Romania and I had to work a lot along with my colleagues to find activities, beautiful restaurants, clubs, pubs, transfers, hotels, and so on, willing to work with us and host groups of males travelling JUST to experience the entertainment area. But the entertainment scene in Romania is awesome! We have everything for everybody, this is why it was easy for us to make our clients happy. 

In the meanwhile, in association with my husband, I launched my own company and brand having as main weapons all the accumulated experience, creativity, transparency and of course, good vibes and energy.

Just to give a few details about the concept: one is getting married so his friends are throwing a “party- trip” for him, considering this his last moment of freedom. And being the last moments of freedom…a lot of things might happen when you have in mind ” What happens in Bucharest, stays in Bucharest.”

Now, just in case you’re wondering what happens and stays in Bucharest, I am referring to all the city tours, museum visits and cultural events. Haha, catch ya! No, I am talking about all the crazy, funny moments, happening mostly after midnight, those moments that stick into your memory for life.
